Battlefield: Bad Company lands on Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

Xbox One's backwards compatibility library has just gotten a much-welcome addition to its lineup with Battlefield: Bad Company. In some ways, the addition feels like a long time coming, particularly because its sequel, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has been backwards compatible for some time. The game originally released back in 2008 as a spin-off to the series' main numbered entries, but in some ways has managed to outdo them by virtue of its strong campaign.

If you don't already own Battlefield: Bad Company, you can rectify that by heading over to the game's Xbox Store page and pick it up for $15. As with every other backwards compatible game, if you already own the game as a physical copy, all you have to do is pop in your disc and go.

It's been a good week for Xbox One's backwards compatibility initiative, as Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance joined the program earlier this week and benefited from an improved frame rate in the process.
