Battlefield: Hardline beta details coming next week

Visceral Games has launched a new video series for Battlefield: Hardline that, each week, will provide fans with exclusive game and behind the scenes info. And kicking things off next week — presumably on Wednesday, as that's when they promise new episodes — will be the details regarding Battlefield: Hardline's first beta.

Battlefield: Hardline was originally due out in October 2014, but was delayed to "early 2015" to give developer Visceral Games time to not only implement changes based on your feedback from beta, but to also "push innovation further and make the game even better." It's now set to release on March 17, 2015, and in a letter to the community, Battlefield: Hardline Executive Producer Steve Papoutsis said the decision was ultimately "the right call."

"The improvements the team has added to the game with the extra time are making Battlefield Hardline the complete first person shooter experience we set out to deliver. There's a great story for fans of single player. Exciting new MP modes, vehicles, gadgets and weapons that add a new dimension of speed to Battlefield. All while still staying true to the thing that most sets Battlefield apart – a focus on teamplay and strategy," Papoutsis concluded.

So check back next week, probably on Wednesday, for details regarding Battlefield: Hardline's beta.
