Steve Papoutsis, Vice President and General Manager at Visceral Games, has taken to EA's forums to thank everyone who participated in the Battlefield Hardline open beta, and urged those that have yet to jump in to do so before it ends tonight.
In addition to thanking players, he also revealed that over six million of people have played in the beta since its launch. That's over 1.4 million more than Destiny had, but we should note that the Destiny beta was not available on PC. Destiny still has something over Battlefield: Hardline though; it had the most amount of people participating in a new IP's beta.
Papoutsis doesn't want anyone to think that the beta was just there to raise hype. Player feedback is already being reviewed so that it can be implemented in the game:
We’re just five weeks away from the launch of Battlefield Hardline, how could we possibly be acting on that feedback? Well, I can assure you we are. In fact, we’ve already been prioritizing changes for things fans are talking about.
Battlefield Hardline's beta is set to end tonight, but the full game will be released on March 17th for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
