Battlefield Hardline’s beta actually had over 7 million players

EA shares impressive Hardline beta stats

Apparently, one extra day met another one million participants in Battlefield Hardline's beta. With this month's open beta wrapped up, EA has decided to share some stats regarding the game's most popular modes, weapons, and more.

For starters, a total of seven million players participated in the Battlefield Hardline beta. That's one million more than the total Steve Papoutsis, Vice President and General Manager at Visceral Games, had given us on the beta's final night. Comparatively, 2.4 million more than Destiny had, but we should note that the Destiny beta was not available on PC.

Among the stats, EA revealed that Hotwire "proved to be the fan favorite" as more cars were stolen and taken down than vaults blown open in Heist. Cops also reigned supreme, "winning more rounds in all the matches combined than the robbers." And of that, the Operator class was the most preferred to play as.

The stats don't stop there, though. EA also posted an entire infographic of beta stats including $2.8 billion in loot stolen in Heist mode, 38 million vaults busted, 38 million cars hotwired, and 21 million hotwire takedowns.
