Bayonetta 2 confirmed for Wii U

Developers Platinum Games are well known for their stylish action games, titles like Bayonetta, and the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Now it seems that the Japanese studio is going big on the Wii U, having already showcased The Wonderful 101, and now confirming a much anticipated sequel today during Nintendo's Wii U press conference: Bayonetta 2.

Aside from a short teaser video, not much is known about this sequel, other than some of the original staff will be helping to create it. That being said, this Wii U exclusive could be a big hit for Nintendo, who seems to be trying to cater to people outside of their traditional casual audience.

We'll have more info on Bayonetta 2 as it becomes available.
