Bayonetta 2 developers working on new game

It wasn't very long ago that we saw Bayonetta 2 make its release, in fact, it released in late September…That's only three months ago! The developers, Platinum Games, don't waste any time though, they are already looking to bring a new game to the forefront.

The producer, Akiko Kuroda, and director, Yusuke Hashimoto, behind Bayonetta 2 sat down with 4Gamer (ready your Google translate button if you click that) to talk about 2014 and more importantly, 2015.

In the interview both the producer and director confirm that there is a new game coming, it's not related to Bayonetta (even though they might wish it was):

“We’ve already began working on the next project, but it seems like it’ll be a little while longer until we can make an announcement,” said Akiko Kuroda. “I hope that we can do something related to the Bayonetta series in 2015 as well, so please keep an eye out for more from Bayonetta!”

Answering the same questions from 4Gamer, Yusuke Hashimoto replied, “Currently, a new project is in progress! We’re doing our best to develop something that will make you all say ‘I want to play it!’ and thank you for your continued support in 2015 as well!”
