Last summer during Gamescom 2015, SEGA confirmed that the game would be hitting the Xbox One, but did not say when. Apparently, one year and one month was enough time for the gaming community to wait.
In addition to Bayonetta, de Blob 2 and Arkanoid LIVE have joined the Xbox One's backward compatibility library.

De Blob 2 is a platform puzzle game from the now-defunct Blue Tongue Entertainment development studio. Arkanoid LIVE is based on the 1986 arcade game Arkanoid where you have to break blocks with a ball.
