BBC is investigating the leak of the ‘Sherlock’ season 4 finale

BBC is investigating the source of the 'Sherlock' season four finale leak after a Russian dubbed version surfaced online.

This past Saturday, a Russian dubbed version of the 'Sherlock' season four finale, entitled 'His Final Problem', leaked online. Considering the continuity of the series and the great deal of hard work that went into finally getting another season of the show off the ground, the BBC network is taking this matter very seriously and has launched a full investigation as to the source of the leak:

The network is urging fans of the series to stay loyal and not share or spread the leaked episode, including 'Sherlock' producer, Sue Vertue.

Once the investigation has concluded, BBC executives plan to issue a full statement in regards to whether or not Russian broadcaster, Channel One, who had the initial master copy of the episode for the Russian airing, is to blame for the situation.
