Become a giant, robotic snake in Halfbrick’s new game Colassatron: Massive World Threat

Halfbrick Studios, the developer behind Jetpack Joyride and Fruit Ninja, has announced Colossatron: Massive World Threat, their new game inspired by monster movies and 80s anime shows. While the concept is fairly straightforward — you are a massive robot snake whose sole purpose is to cause mass city destruction — Halfbrick is no doubt hoping it will be just ad wildly addicting as its previous games.

As you'll see in the trailer below, the snake slithers around the city causing destruction and mayhem, while fending off defending military. You'll also notice the snake is comprised of different color robotic nodes. These color-coded Powernodes attach to your Colossatron, giving you different weapons and abilities which can also be combined for "explosive secrets" within different Powernode tiers.

"Success is measured by one key metric – dollars of damage caused," the developer explains. "The more powerful Colossatron is, the more destroyed and the higher the score. Players can compare and even combine their destructive powers, with additional competitive and cooperative social features revealed soon."

Colossatron: Massive World Threat is "coming soon."
