Ben Affleck confirms current title of solo Batman movie

Even though Ben Affleck is busy with his Executive Producer role on the Justice League movie and the upcoming release of his most recent film, The Accountant, Affleck is also working on his responsibilities on the solo Batman film.

The actor/director/producer hasn't been so busy with all of his other projects that he doesn't have time to tease his standalone Batman movie. While we don't know a lot about the solo Batman movie, we do know that his main adversary will be Deathstroke, played by Joe Manganiello (thanks to a tease from Affleck), and he looks awesome.

Now we know one more thing – the title of the upcoming Batman movie:

"The movie, I think, is going to be called 'The Batman,' at least that's what we're going with now. I might change it… That's about it right now. That's all I got. We're working on the script, the script is going well, I'm really excited about it and I assure you that when there's anything that develops you'll hear about it"

Affleck revealed the current title of the movie to the Associated Press in an interview for The Accountant. The statement did not go further than that, which unfortunately means we don't know how likely it is that the movie will change its name… But for now we can look forward to The Batman.
