Ben Affleck is Gal Gadot’s favorite Batman

When Ben Affleck was cast as Batman many years ago, the internet exploded with opinions (as per usual). Lots of people thought Ben Affleck was a bizarre choice and assumed he wouldn't be able to do the role justice, but that didn't prevent Affleck from donning the cape and cowl.

When we saw Affleck's performance as The Dark Knight in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice last year, many thought he was the best part of the movie… and arguably the best Batman. Shocking! One person who really loves Ben's dark portrayal of the billionaire crime fighter is his Justice League co-star, Gal Gadot.

Wonder Woman herself spoke in an interview speaking about his acting talent and his take on the character who has been interpreted by over five live action actors, a number of comic book writers, and much more.

“I think that Ben is such a good actor. Very, very talented. I think the interpretation that they gave Batman in this movie they wanted him to be more weary, more tired of life, more cynical, more dark. I think that Ben captured it in such a sophisticated way,” she told Sky Cinema UK and Ireland.

“He’s one of my favorite Batmans, for sure – if not the best one.”

Gal Gadot made her debut as Wonder Woman alongside Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and she'll be getting her own standalone film this June. She will fight side by side with Ben Affleck's Batman once again this November in Justice League.
