Ben Affleck is jacked in latest Batman v Superman image

The cover of the latest issue of Empire features a new image of Batman and Superman from the upcoming film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and holy sh*t is Ben Affleck jacked. Just looking at the side by side of the titular heroes, Affleck, who plays Bruce Wayne (Batman) is practically double the size of Henry Cavill (Superman).

I mean, dude is swol.

The cover feature in this month's issue takes a deeper look at Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, with a particular focus on director Zack Snyder, the stars, and the development of the highly anticipated film.

“There is just this gravitas to Batman,” director Zack Snyder teased as a little nugget. "He is operatice." As for Superman, actor Henry Cavill teases "In this movie, everyone has split into different directions as to how they feel about this alien. Some people love him, some people hate him. Other people fear him. Is he a tyrant?"

The latest issue of Empire hits newsstands on Thursday, while Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
