The second trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens hasn't even released (we won't be seeing it until Fall), but Disney and Lucasfilms have already turned their attention to Star Wars: Episode VIII (don't worry they definitely won't be churning these films out like Call of Duty games).
According to The Wrap discussions with are still in the very early stages, Disney and Lucasfilms have offered Benicio del Toro a role as the villain in Episode 8. It's a fair choice on Disney Lucasfilms' part, Del Toro plays the villain role well.
Del Toro is no stranger to Disney films, he played as The Collector in Thor: The Dark World and reprised his role in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Episode 8 is set to be directed by Rian Johnson, who directed Looper in 2012, as well as three episodes of s Breaking Bad ('Fly', 'Fifty-One', and 'Ozymandias'). Last year it was reported that Johnson was set to direct Star Wars: Episode IX (9), while we have yet to see any confirmation on that, Episode 8 is set to release on May 26, 2017.
