Best Buy offers amazing trade-in deal for Xbox One credit

Gaming can be an expensive hobby; game consoles can be around $350 and up, new games are $60 and gaming accessories can be around $30 to $60. Due to these prices, when there is a sale or deal available, we have to take advantage of it.

Best Buy is offering up to $175 towards an Xbox One if you decide to trade-in your older consoles. No, this doesn't mean you bust out the Dreamcast and original PlayStation. This deal is only good for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

Between April 26th and May 2nd, you will be able to trade-in your PS3 and Xbox 360 for in-store credit (the trade can only be done in-store). Any working PS3 and Xbox 360 will get you $75 towards the Xbox One. However, a working PS3 Slim and 250GB Xbox 360 will also get you a $100 gift card in addition to the credit, meaning you're essentially receiving $175 toward an Xbox One. The trade-in console must include the AC adapter/power cord and isn't compatible with other trade-in offers.

This deal won't be available at every store and some stores might even have additional limitations on the tradeiin. Give your local Best Buy a call before you lug your PS3 and/or Xbox 360 out there.
