Best Buy offers free PlayStation TV with PS4 Arkham Knight or The Last of Us bundles

Best Buy, a little late to the party, is currently hosting a "Black Friday in July" sale. And similar to Amazon Prime Day, most of the video game sales are a bit of a disappointment. However, there is a deal right now on the site where if you purchase a PlayStation 4 bundle you'll get a free PlayStation TV thrown in for free.

The promotion currently applies to two bundles: The Last of Us Remastered Bundle and Batman: Arkham Knight Bundle — both listed at their regular price of $399.99. Both include the free game associated with it (with exclusive PlayStation content), a 500GB PS4 console, and a DualShock 4 wireless controller. When you purchase either of these, you'll get a PS TV (valued by Best Buy at $79.99, though you can get it elsewhere for around $40) for free.

So why would you want a PS TV? Well, it's essentially a PlayStation Vita that you can hook up to your television, which means you can stream your PlayStation 4 games to any television in the house that your PS TV is hooked up to (provided you have an internet speed capable of doing so). Assuming your internet is capable of such, you can hook up your PS4 in one room (let's say your living room or family room) and then the PS TV in the bedroom and play while in bed.

There's plenty of other deals to be had on the Best Buy website as well, including discounts on many PlayStation, Xbox, and Wii U games such as Mortal Kombat X, Dying Light, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and more.

Granted, we'll probably see better deals on the actual Black Friday in November, but for those of you who just can't wait to get a PS4, this might not be a bad deal.
