Ubisoft has shared some news about the upcoming private beta for their soon to arrive multiplayer coop shooter The Division 2. Taking place between February 7-10, every user who pre-orders the game gets guaranteed access to it with everyone else needing to register for a chance at the beta. Check out the trailer which goes in-depth at what the beta has in store.
With around six weeks left until the sequel to one of Ubisoft’s most successful games ever releases, the publisher has decided to share more details about the imminent beta for it. The so-called Private Beta will be available for customer that pre-order The Division 2 and some lucky gamers who’ll be invited as free space arises.
As is pretty well shown in the accompanying trailer, the beta is looking to be a pretty meaty experience in its own right, by offering a wide range of missions and activities. Arguably the highlight are going to be not one but two Main Missions and a whopping five Side Missions. This should be plenty of content for eager players to get early hands-on time with the ravaged open-world of Washington D.C. in The Division 2.
But wait, there’s more! As a multiplayer-focused experience, the beta is also packing some heat in form of access to one of the three Dark Zones. In this dangerous area, players can engage in ruthless PvP action. Up to 12 players can duke it out in the revamped Dark Zone modes.
And if that wasn’t enough, player will also get a glimpse at some end game content in form of one mission. A welcome addition to the beta as The Division 2 is a Games-as-a-Service type of product and relies a lot on a meaningful game content long after the credits have rolled.
The Division 2 comes out March 15 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
