It's been about four months since Fallout 4 was revealed to be getting a 4K PS4 Pro patch, but as of this point, it still hasn't happened. Fallout 4 has gone quiet ever since Bethesda released the final DLC, 'Nuka World' and announced that Mod support would (finally) be coming to PS4, but that hasn't stopped some players from asking what the deal is.
Pere Hines, Bethesda's VP of Public Relations and Marketing took a fan question on Twitter after the official Fallout Account failed to provide a cohesive answer. Here's the tweet.
As you can see, it's just enough to say that it's still in the plans, but not enough to glean anything else. As it stands right now, Fallout 4's long-term outlook lies entirely within the game's modding community, as Bethesda appears to be wrapping up their time with the game. Once the PS4 Pro patch and whatever Scorpio support is in the works are released to the public, there doesn't appear to be much more, if anything, on the horizon for the game.
