Bethesda has accepted the bottle caps as payment for a Fallout 4 pre-order

Bethesda has responded to the man named Seth who requested a Fallout 4 pre-order in exchange for the 2,240+ bottle caps that he had been saving for the last 7.5 years. Bethesda has found it within their hearts to accept his bottle caps as a form of payment — they really had no choice, not with all those bottle caps sitting around their office.

Bethesda’s Global Community Lead Matt Grandstaff was the one that made the reply, you might recall him from today’s earlier news article on the subject where he teased that the bottle caps had arrived.

Seth took to the place where it all began (where most of the internet starts nowadays) to make the reveal, stating:

“He [Matt Grandstaff] told me since I was the first person to do this, I would be receiving a copy of the game this November, and that he would be running my caps over to deposit them at the People’s Bank of Point Lookout.”

This place…

If you’re getting the wild-eyed thought of doing this yourself, note that Seth mentioned that the reason he got a copy of the game was because he was the first person to do something like this.

Special thanks to Waffle, who let me in on the conclusion of Seth’s plea for Fallout 4. You’re the best kind of Waffle out there.
