Bethesda has not given up on getting Mod Support for PS4

By now, everybody knows the deal. Sony has rejected user mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim: Special Edition on PS4 and of course, the internet is not happy. Unless you are an obnoxious Xbox fan that loves starting flame wars that is. Mod support for console players is designed to be delivered through BethesdaNet, and while that seems to have worked for Microsoft, Bethesda is examining alternatives for Sony, according to Pete Hines.

Some annoyed gamers have grasped at straws for the reasoning behind the rejection, even claiming that Bethesda had never even started work on them. Hines was quick to shoot that down.

So at the very least, the quest to get mod support on PS4 is still on-going, even if it does look bleak. At this point, I wouldn't hold my breath, but while Bethesda's focus still remains on Fallout 4 and the Skyrim: Special Edition, there's always hope.
