Fallout 4 is one of the most highly anticipated games of 2015 and Bethesda's Todd Howard has revealed that The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim was ported to Xbox One to aid Fallout 4's development.
Many of you might be wondering 'well, does that mean Skyrim might come to Xbox One through backwards compatibility?', but unfortunately we don't have a clear-cut answer at this time. However, Todd Howard has mentioned Skyrim in a recent meeting with Game Informer.
It is our understanding that while Howard was discussing the creation of the upcoming Fallout title, he said: "The first thing we did was port Skyrim to Xbox One," later toning down the situation with a simple "Don't get your hopes up yet."
Howard's meeting with Game Informer was intended to discuss the company's move onto new hardware, as the Bethesda chief insisted that while Fallout 4 took a while to create, it gave the company a chance to not only collect and gather data to make the game better, but the long time frame seemingly gave them the chance to test Skyrim on a new platform.
