Beyond Good and Evil 2 reportedly a timed Nintendo Switch exclusive

Most gamers and analysts agree that Nintendo will need to lock in major third party support in order for their new console, Switch, to be a success. According to a reputable source for Nintendo rumors, the company may be doing just that. The sequel to cult classic Beyond Good and Evil will supposedly release exclusively for the Switch for a whole year.

This would be an interesting "get" for Nintendo, as die hard fans have been eagerly awaiting this game for almost 14 years. The last official word on the game came from creator Michel Ancel in November of 2016, saying that the game is in serious development at Ubisoft but that it would still be a while before they were ready to show anything.

Ubisoft, the developer and publisher behind Beyond Good and Evil, has been praising the Nintendo Switch plenty, saying that the Switch would be bringing "casual players back" to the industry. It has even been rumored that the next Assassin's Creed game would be heading to the Switch.
