Beyond Good & Evil HD Coming to XBLA and PSN

Action-adventure cult classic Beyond Good & Evil is getting an HD remake. According to Industry Gamers, Ubisoft has announced that the game will be released sometime in 2011 as a digital download on Xbox LIVE Arcade and the Playstation Network.

In addition to receiving a 1080p resolution facelift, the game will feature enhanced character models, upgraded textures and a re-mastered musical score. Publisher Ubisoft also says that those who decide to help protagonist Jade in her journalistic endeavors will be able to unlock some new achievements and trophies as well.

Who knows? If the Beyond Good & Evil remake does well, maybe fans will finally get the sequel they’ve been clamoring for.
