The guys behind Rise of Nations are back! Big Huge Games is looking to bring back strategy games, but this time they aren't aiming for your PC or Xbox — They are coming for your phones.
The original founders of Big Huge Games, Tim Train and Brian Reynolds, are heading the iOS and Android tablet strategy game initiative. Their game, DomiNations, looks eerily similar to Clash of Clans — but it should. It's very similar.
DomiNations borrows certain elements from Clash of Clans, but in Big Huge Games' game you choose a civilization to build up from and go from there. You play through the earliest days of humanity to the enlightenment period and the 1800's, with extra periods of time looking to be added. DomiNations will be free-to-play, with the option of in-game purchases to speed up the building process.
Big Huge Games' resurrection will come to Android and iOS tablets in 2015.
