Just a reminder, Irrational Games' BioShock Infinite is joining the Instant Game Collection today. Following today's PlayStation Store update, the game should be available to download on PlayStation 3 for free for PlayStation Plus members. Those who have managed to hold off playing the game until now are in for quite a treat as BioShock Infinite was one of 2013's top titles.
"Indebted to the wrong people and with his life on the line, veteran of the U.S. Cavalry and hired gun Booker DeWitt has only one opportunity to wipe his slate clean. He must rescue Elizabeth, a mysterious girl imprisoned since childhood and locked up in the flying city of Columbia. Forced to trust one another, Booker and Elizabeth form a powerful bond during their daring escape."
BioShock Infinite is just one of the free games that will be available for PlayStation Plus members for the month of January. Earlier this month, PS3 owners were treated to DmC Devil May Cry, while PS4 gamers got Don't Starve for free. Looking ahead, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is still due out for PS3, as well as Worms: Battle As and Smart As for Vita.
In addition to BioShock Infinite going free today, Sony is hosting a "14 for 14" sale. On the PlayStation Store, 14 PS3 and 14 Vita games (some cross-buy) will be available at a steep discount. The sale begins today and lasts until January 20.
