BioShock Infinite multiplayer scrapped

Most games these days seem to tack on a multiplayer mode to add an extension to the game's replay value, but if we've learned anything over the past few months it's that BioShock Infinite and its developer, Irrational Games, are unlike anything else.

Although two co-op modes were originally planned and later scrapped as Irrational Games "experimented" with things, it now seems    that the entire multiplayer aspect of the game has been abandoned. When fans asked about the feature on Twitter, game director Ken Levine simply responded, "no multi".

Is anybody really upset about this though? I think BioShock Infinite is a game best played solo.
