Here's something you don't see every day from new game releases. Mass Effect: Andromeda will not have a Season Pass when it launches in March, a far cry from what most major RPG's (and games, in general, do these days). BioWare's GM, Aaron Flynn confirmed the news to an inquiring fan over Twitter. Here's the tweet:
@coldboy33 @masseffect Nope

Mass Effect: Andromeda is not the first game with EA as its publisher to skip over the Season Pass, as Respawn's Titanfall 2 did it as well late last year. The absence of a Season Pass is not indicative of whether or not the game will have any sort of story DLC post-launch, as Flynn mentioned in a separate tweet that the company will talk more about DLC later. Translation: yes, there is DLC. It'd make no sense for them not to.
Here's that tweet:
@coldboy33 @masseffect We'll talk more about that later 🙂

Mass Effect: Andromeda releases on PS4, PC, and Xbox One on March 21st, 2017 and will be playable five days early on both EA Access and Origin Access beginning on March 16th. If you're interested, the game is now available for pre-order in three different versions, and you can head over here for more details.
