BioWare dev teases first hour of Mass Effect: Andromeda

Smell that? It's desperation for Andromeda news.

Other than the Senior Development Director for Mass Effect left BioWare and the N7 Day tease, we haven't heard much news regarding Mass Effect: Andromeda. Up until now, the only hint that we have been given for the game is that it will feature an 'action packed story.'

BioWare's Lead Producer, Cameron Lee, recently got his hands on Mass Effect: Andromeda and played the first hour. While Lee is currently working on a new game at BioWare, one of the perks of being a developer at the studio allowed him to do what countless fans are hoping to do.

Admittedly, this isn't hard-hitting news. This is news brought out of sheer desperation to hear anything about Andromeda (Please, BioWare, please).

Of course, Lee teased the fact that he got to play the game… Which lead to people asking him how it was. Now, a BioWare employee wouldn't say the game their employer was working on was bad, so take this with a grain of salt — Lee stated that the game was fun and he "got to shoot things in the face."

That means, within the first hour of Andromeda, we will be able to shoot things in the face. No running around a ship or fleeing things without weapons. Lee didn't say whether or not the game's prologue took up the full hour or not, but some news is better than no news… right?

BioWare, I speak on behalf of the community – please give us Andromeda news!
