BioWare Selling Signed, Rare Gear to Aid Japan

BioWare is hosting a charity auction to aid the American Red Cross’s Japan relief fund. A number of cool items, such as custom painted consoles and hoodies, are currently on eBay and going for a decent price with just under two days remaining on bids.

BioWare’s Community Coordinator “Evil” Chris Priestly announced the auction on the BioWare website, encouraging users to donate directly to the relief fund.

The main items up for grabs are the custom painted PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, and there are two of each. All four have been signed by BioWare founders Ray Muzkya and Greg Zeschuk. The hoodies are also signed, and there are 10 of those being offered.

BioWare accidentally left the shipping setting as “US shipping only,” when in fact they are willing to ship worldwide. It’s free, too, so if you do nab a custom 360 (one is currently selling for $885), 100% of your cash will go to Japan. The hoodies are currently sitting at $150 and counting, so get your bid in now.
