It looks as though NetherRealm will be adding the only superhero that can literally shout your face off to their highly anticipated fighter, Injustice 2. I'm talking of course about Black Canary. Laurel Lance will be suiting up in Injustice 2 according to an all-new trailer revealed at IGN First. The trailer shows off Canary in a sort of mentor role, as Blue Beetle, looking to earn his stripes, challenges her to a fight.
Spoiler alert, it doesn't go well for poor Blue Beetle. You'll get her next time, champ.
Black Canary is primarily a melee fighter who uses her fisticuffs to get up close and personal. Her special power is her Canary Cry, an ultrasonic scream that can damage opponents from afar while (likely) shattering their ear drums.
Injustice 2 is currently running a closed beta and will release in full on May 16th, 2017.
