Black Canary will be joining the Injustice 2 beta

If you've been enjoying the Injustice 2 beta, chances are you've spent quite a bit of time with each of the five characters. According to Injustice 2's Creative Director, Ed Boon, a sixth character, the recently announced Black Canary will be joining the Beta as well. The choice makes a ton of sense given the emphasis that NetherRealm placed on advertising the character last week, so striking while the iron is hot appears to be a pretty good move.

Boon announced the news via Twitter. Here's the tweet.

Black Canary seems to be mostly a melee fighter who can mix it up with her Canary Cry, a screech attack that can knock down any enemy from afar.

Injustice 2 releases in full on May 16th, 2017.
