Black Ops 2 double XP weekend announced for all platforms, launches tomorrow

In just a few short days, Xbox 360 players will be launching their consoles and gearing up the download for Black Ops 2’s anticipated, first DLC release (Sorry, PS3 users), and to aid those gnawing at their teeth to shoot foes across four new maps, Treyarch is deeming this weekend “Double XP” across all four platforms (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, and PC).

According to the developer, Double XP will kick off tomorrow (Friday, January 25) at 10 a.m./PST and run until Monday morning (January 28) at 10 a.m./PST. For those who aren’t for the math, that’s 72 hours of rank boosting – and hey, this is the non-cheating way to do it!

Below is the official tweet from Treyarch Studios:

2XP weekend for ‪#BlackOps2, starting on 1/25 (10am/PST) – 1/28 (10am/PST) on 360/PS3/PC/Wii…start lining up your Replacers now.

And in case you missed it, Treyarch released a brand new video on their Call of Duty YouTube page, titled, “The Replacer.” It’s actually a pretty ingenious idea, molded around some fantastic action that’ll certainly have you excited for Revolution come Tuesday morning.
