Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's Nuketown Zombies will be released for PlayStation 3 and PC next week, Treyarch announced today. Just to be clear (because Activision and Treyarch have been vague about the release process of this coveted map), Nuketown Zombies is a special bonus map for the Black Ops 2 Zombies mode.
The Nuketown Zombies map was originally included only in the Collector's Edition version of Black Ops 2; however, it was then added to the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Season Pass. Even with the Season Pass purchased, players had to wait for the map's release.
Nuketown Zombies was first made available for Xbox 360 players with the Season Pass back in December 2012, but PS3 and PC players were still forced to wait. Next week though, on January 17, the eagerly awaited map will finally arrive on PS3 and PC. Remember, you must purchase the Season Pass to play Nuketown Zombies.
Speaking of Zombies, the just announced Revolution DLC will include a new "Turned" mode that lets you actually play as a zombie! This is a first for the Call of Duty series. You can learn more about the DLC and the new "Turned" mode here.
