A rumor floating around about a Marcus Fenix Collection for Gears of War which would bundle the first three Gears Games in HD on the Xbox One has been shot down by the Studio Manager (Rod Fergusson) at Black Tusk Studios.
Acknowledging the rumors and speculation on Twitter, Fergusson tweeted that while he "loved the passion," the studio isn't working on the collection. It's not all bad news, though; Fergusson did drop hints that Black Tusk Studios is working on "other" Gears of War projects, and even gave us a hint as to when we can expect to learn more.
I love the passion, but there’s no Marcus Fenix Collection. We ARE working on other exciting Gears projects. I'll see you at E3!

So, while he shot down the idea of a Marcus Fenix Collection, the possibility of other Gears of Wars games has us excited. And who knows, just because we aren't getting a collection doesn't mean other HD remakes are ruled out. Fergusson did say acknowledge multiple projects after all.
Either way, we will be hearing more at E3.
