Blackguards 2 trailer shows off even more of the differences from the original

First off and most crucial difference between Blackguards 2 and its predecessor is the open strategy map. Which path do you conquer? Which region do you attempt to tackle? Which do you send resources to defend? The map will tell you the difficulty and rewards received. At the start of a battle, you can choose where to place your units on the battle field – this goes for your mercenaries as well as your ‘heroes.’ Outside of combat, you can go to your camp for information. You’ll be able to interrogate prisoners and find out where your foes will attack.
