Gathering
of Developers and Ritual Entertainment today released more information about
the characters featured in Blair Witch Volume 3: The Elly Kedward Tale, the
upcoming third-person, 3D-action/adventure PC thriller. Gamers can immerse
themselves in the hunt for the witch whose horrible thirst for vengeance has
terrorized the small town of Blair and ignited the Blair Witch legend. Gamers
take on the role of Jonathon Pyre, a former pastor turned fanatic witch
hunter. While most of the townspeople have fled Blair in horror, several key
characters remain. Players must get to know these characters if they are to
understand what evil forces lurk in the silent, mysterious woods. Blair Witch
Volume 3: The Elly Kedward Tale creeps into stores nationwide next week.
Jonathan
Pyre Ex-priest turned fanatic witch hunter who must master all forms of magic-
white and black if he is to save anyone, including himself.
Elizabeth
Styler Local woman jailed and charged with witchcraft after the Kedward
incident. Intelligent and well spoken, she is far from the monster she is
accused of being.
Hirrum
Heathtow Dismissed by the townspeople as the useless town drunk, this prisoner
is a comical, but useful character. Despite his affinity for tormenting
Elizabeth Styler, he can sometimes become lucid enough to share vital
information.
Asgaya
Gigagei. A mysterious native shaman, he will indoctrinate gamers in the
rituals of pagan magic and lead them into the spiritual realms where the real
battle against evil must be waged.
Jonah
Stead The town magistrate. Untrusting and rattled by the recent events, he is
not an immediate ally, but w ill provide key information about the bizarre
occurrences in Blair.
Father
Hale Goodfellow A local priest with little patience for tales of demons and
spirits. However, he is well versed in the art of exorcism and will be a
useful source of information.
