Blizzard accounts can now be linked to Bungie’s website to prepare for Destiny 2

Worlds collide.

Earlier this year, it was officially revealed that the sequel to one of the most popular games of all time, Destiny, will be getting a PC version shortly after it launches on console. This will mark Bungie's return to the platform for the first time since Halo 2 (outside Halo Wars' remaster that came to PC which was not done by Bungie).

That's right, PC players can experience Destiny 2 on their expensive rigs at 60 FPS. The game will be made available through Blizzard's online store, Battle.net. Unlike other PC retailers like Steam, Battle.net is primarily Blizzard games but since Bungie is partnered with Activision (Blizzard is owned by Activision), Destiny 2's PC version will be exclusively available on Battle.net.

To prepare yourself for the PC version, you can now link your Blizzard account to your Bungie.net account. This is how you'll be able to redeem codes for things like emblems and other special in-game items. You'll also need to link your account to Bungie.net if you plan on playing the beta.

If you have yet to pre-order Destiny 2 or simply don't want to, we're running a giveaway on GameZone where we're giving away quite a few beta codes for the game. You can click here to read the rules and instructions for the giveaway.

Destiny 2 releases on September 6th for Xbox One and PS4, the PC version will launch on October 24th, 2017.
