Blizzard apologizes for accidentally closing XP bonus with 4 extra days of 100% XP

In celebration of the Heroes of the Storm launch this month, Blizzard tossed in an XP bonus that would increase incrementally each week, finally topping off at 100% XP the final week. Good stuff. Unfortunately, that 100% bonus ended a day early causing a lot of frustration. In acknowledgment of this snafu, Blizzard is stepping up and announcing an extended bonus as an apology.

The 100% XP bonus will be back in the Americas region of Battle.net starting at 1pm PDT on July 2nd and ending at 1pm PDT four days later on July 6th. This event will also be extended to other regions globally at on those same dates at 1pm local time.

It’s a great chance to make up for some lost progression (and add some) as well as a nice little make good from Blizzard.
