Among the many changes and features brought forth with StarCraft 2 patch 2.1, the most exciting was easily the Arcade going completely free-to-play for all players, even if you don't actually own the game itself. In the past, if you didn't own StarCraft 2, then you were only able to play the Blizzard-made games as well as current "Arcade Highlights." By going completely free-to-play, the entire catalog of games — tens of thousands of games — are now available to absolutely everyone. And now, the website dedicated to the free Arcade is available for your browsing.
"Welcome to the all-new Blizzard Arcade website! Here you’ll find the latest information related to games, game development, and other works made using the StarCraft II editor," Blizzard writes in the site's introduction. Every other Friday, Blizzard will put out Arcade Highlights, where the best of Arcade games are showcased, along with Arcade Workshops where they take a look at up-and-coming games.
