Two weeks ago it was reported that World of Warcraft was getting Twitter integration into the game. It turns out that Twitter isn't all the World of Warcraft is getting in the upcoming patch 6.1 (omitting normal things like class buffs/debuffs and things like that).
A perfect compliment to the addition of integrating social media to World of Warcraft, is the ability to take a selfie in-game.
Blizzard is bringing the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera to World of Warcraft in patch 6.1. The camera is a reward from a level 100 garrison mission called Field Photography. The mission itself will take four hours, but it won't require anything special. A follow-up mission from Field Photography called Lens Some Hands will upgrade your S.E.L.F.I.E Camera, giving you the ability to use three filters.
To use the camera you click it (or use a key binding if it's on your action bar) and the in-game camera will turn around to face your character for the perfect selfie. Your character will automatically make emotive faces and you will be able to move the camera around in order to capture the best selfie possible.
After your take a selfieĀ using the command /Share will let you share whatever you want on to Twitter.
