Blizzard isn’t done with botters in Hearthstone yet

Around mid to late October Blizzard put the warning out to all players that decided to use bots in Hearthstone. The warning detailed the fate of those found botting – a ban until 2015.

Since Blizzard began cleaning house a popular bot purveyor, Crawlerbots,  was forced to shut down citing that 'discussions' with Blizzard lead them to the conclusion that the closure was necessary.

Blizzard's efforts to remove the bots from Hearthstone are founded in creating a 'fair play environment' and their patience was wearing thin with those that weren't playing fair. Since their original warning of a ban until 2015 (and a permanent ban), Blizzard has banned 'several thousand' Hearthstone accounts. They aren't done yet though, in a recent post on the Hearthstone website Blizzard has announced that they will continue to monitor players and if any players are found to be cheating 'in any form' will be permanently banned – without warning.

Blizzard directs you to send an email to hacks@blizzard.com if you encounter any cheating players.
