More and more big-time developers are recognizing the need to turn to the mobile gaming market because of its ever growing player base, accessibility, and the potential for profit. Blizzard, already one of those developers with its mobile version of Hearthstone amongst the platforms' best games, could be working on another game based on the Warcraft series. NeoGAF user, Nirolak found a job posting over on Blizzard's career page which calls for an FX Artist with "passion for creating imagery synonymous with the Warcraft IP."
Another blurb in the posting says that applicants must be "skilled in developing effects that work across a wide range of mobile platforms."
The ad doesn't give any descriptions of the potential project, those these things seldom ever do. It's also worth noting that the posting doesn't guarantee that there even is a project in the works, as it could just be for help developing Hearthstone assets. But you would think if that were the case, they'd come right out and say "Hearthstone" and not "Warcraft."
