Blizzard reveals new Overwatch Animated Short: Rise and Shine with Mei

Teased last week, Blizzard has released their newest animated short film for Overwatch, called Rise and Shine. The new short focuses on Mei and gives us a little inside look at the work she was doing at EcoPoint in Antarctica. Much like the previous short, which focused on Bastian, Rise and Shine also pulls at the heart strings, very much like old Pixar films.

The short is 10 minutes long and can be viewed below. After viewing the short, I'm left with a few questions, as I'm sure most of the Overwatch fan community is as well. Who are the people behind those names on the cryo pods, what did all that data she collected really prove and most importantly when are we going to get that snowsuit as a skin in the game?
