Blizzard says they “failed horrifically” on the cancelled Titan MMO

Very little information ever came out about Blizzard's now defunct project Titan. All we really know is that it was an MMO that was allegedly larger than World of Warcraft. Blizzard is so tight lipped about Titan even to this day, simply because they don't like talking about it.

"You had a really amazing group that was working on Titan," said Designer Jeff Kaplan. "They were really talented individuals, but we failed horrifically in every way … In every way that a project can fail. It was devastating."

The folks over at Gamespot are currently running a series on the creation of Overwatch, leading up to the game's release. This is important because Titan's failures have a tremendous impact on the design of Overwatch.

Overwatch hasn't been without its fair shair of problems either. Fortunately, those are more due to fan reaction than any skeleton lurking in the game's development closet.
