Blizzard announced today that it is targeting a July release for Curse of Naxxramas, the first add-on for its digital collectible card game Hearthstone.
"Just wanted to give everyone a head's up that we are currently targeting to release Curse of Naxxramas during the month of July. Unfortunately, we still have a lot of implementing and bug fixing to get through, so please stay tuned," a Blizzard community manager said on Battle.net.
In the same post, Blizzard mentioned that it plans to reveal pricing details for the first expansion next week on July 1.
Announced back in April, Curse of Naxxramas adds a single-player adventure mode in which new stages will be added to the game over a five-week period. Each stage can be unlocked with in-game gold or real money, although the first wing, The Arachnid Quarter, will be free to all. Completing all five wings guarantees you 30 new cards in total, including five new Legendaries. However, all new cards will be available in the Arena, regardless of whether you've unlocked them or not.
When it does release, Curse of Naxxramas will be available on PC, Mac and iPad simultaneously.
