BlizzCon 2016: Overwatch is getting two new maps and an Arcade Mode in the near future

With BlizzCon in full swing, Overwatch has to no one's surprise, been at the center of much of the attention. It is Blizzard's newest IP and also officially confirmed Sombra as the game's latest character earlier today. Blizzard also announced that Overwatch would be getting two all-new maps, the first called Oasis which will be set in Arabia.

The second map will be called Eco Point and will be playable in the game's upcoming Arcade Mode. What's interesting about the Arcade Mode is that it will allow players to compete in 3v3 and 1v1 matches. If that sounds like something you're interested in checking out, then you'll be happy to know that the new Arcade Mode match types and the Eco Point map will be available for testing next week. Oasis, on the other hand, will be coming to the public test realm sometime in December.

In other BlizzCon news, Diablo 3 will be getting an all new Necromancer class plus a free update that will effectively bring the original Diablo into the modern game.
