Bloodborne patch 1.09 released, here’s what it does

The latest Bloodborne patch (v. 1.09) has been released and addresses one of the community's most common criticisms — the inability to max out multiple weapons per playthrough.

When Bloodborne first released, only one Blood Rock was available, allowing only one weapon to be fully upgraded per playthrough. The Old Hunters DLC helped alleviate fan frustration by adding a second Blood Rock to the campaign, but it still wasn't enough. With the latest patch (via Eurogamer), players are now able to purchase Blood Rock from the Insight shop for 60 Insight. It doesn't come cheap, considering Insight is capped at 99, but for folks who rarely summon, you should have enough now to fully max multiple weapons in a single playthrough.

From Software notes that a certain portion of the main game must be cleared in order to purchase Blood Rock.

Additionally, the amount of Insight to purhcase Blood Stone Chunks has been reduced from 30 to 20.
