Bloodborne will up the difficulty with New Game Plus

Bloodborne's project director Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed that the New Game Plus mode from the Souls games will be featured in Bloodborne. Great, now we never have to stop playing… It will be an infinite loop of Bloodborne until the end of time.

In an interview MCV, Miyazaki revealed that the New Game Plus in Bloodborne will bring the game to a new difficulty — a level of difficulty that  leaves the developers at a loss. FromSoftware can't even beat the game mode themselves (and they created it).

“Yes,” Miyazaki confirms. “There will be a New Game Plus mode.”

He laughs.

“We’re having trouble beating it, though.”

It is unclear whether his laughter was over the fact that the developers themselves are having difficulties beating the game or if he is laughing at the tears of pain and frustration that will be leaking from the eyes of Bloodborne purchasers.

I tend to align myself with the latter.

In case you missed it, the official launch trailer for Bloodborne dropped today! Check it out.
