With all the shuffling that happened during the Duke Nukem lawsuit, one of the more interesting results was the emergence of a game called Bombshell. Billed as an isometric-shooter and featuring a Furiosa-esque one-armed protagonist named Shelly Harrison, it is set to follow the adventures of the former military colonel after being recruited by a PMC.
While Bombshell was quietly making its rounds on the convention circuit over the last several months, the game has lost its initial 2015 release and has been pushed to January 29, 2016. It’s not a huge amount of time for a pushback (and honestly, if you show me a game that didn’t miss its first announced launch date, I’ll show you Fallout 4), it’ll hopefully give them a chance to clean it up to put out a better showing than Duke Nukem Forever.
