Captain Scarlett has been avoiding the “Big Sleep” for some time now. No no, not death, the madman that hangs out with the Sandman. Lots of sleep themes going on here. Well, Captain Scarlett wants you to put his lights out for good for the Borderlands 2 $100,000 Loot Hunt. In return, you’ll receive the delightfully named Orphan Maker. He can find the sleeper cell over in Hayter’s Folly. In the words of the good captain:
The Big Sleep. Stupid, man. He and Sandman holed themselves up in Hayter’s Folly assuming I wouldn’t be able to find them, but find them I did! If, that is, you consider “hiring a mercenary to murder them on your behalf” the same as “finding.” Which, sure. I do. Why not. Anyway, The Big Sleep will drop an Orphan Maker if you kill him.
On the community front, everyone has been put down thus far. Yesterday’s 500,000 Goliaths we’re killed. Will 25,000 Cursed Pirates be slain today? Statistics of past events suggest yes. I have faith in you community. Let’s not let anyone down, we all want that Fastball.
