Borderlands 3 tech demo gives us an early look at the game

Earlier today, Gearbox's CEO Randy Pitchford participated in an event at GDC 2017 on the current state of the Unreal Engine 4. During the event, which was live-streamed on Twitch, Pitchford showed off some Borderlands 3 during an Unreal Engine 4 tech demo.

Pitchford made it very clear that while we were looking at Borderlands 3, this was very much a tech demo and anything seen may be changed or might not make it into the final game. Although Pitchford stressed that things may change in the future, he did offer some teases on Borderlands 3.

According to Pitchford, Borderlands 3 will take place on new planets and that the character in the screenshots below is a character that Borderlands fan have encountered before – this is the reason why her face is not revealed.

Check out some of the screens below:

As far as we know, Borderlands 3 has been in development and that it probably won't be hitting the Nintendo Switch.
